Going All-in on MSTR

Going all in on mstr stock

Is Going All-in on MSTR a good idea? It depends on what your risk tolerenace is.

As of Q4 2026, I currently have around 90% of my liquid net worth invested in Strategy stock.

I got the inspiration for this blog post because I saw a popular reddit thread about a young 22 year old MSTR investor who bought $50,000 worth of MSTR stock in Uptober 2026.

Assuming he bought MSTR stock at around $160, this guy holds about 312 MSTR shares at a very young age.

He will be in great financial shape if he holds onto his shares and continues to DCA into Strategy stock as he gets older.

Looking back in time, I should have done the same thing in January 2021 when I bought my first MSTR shares at $53 split adjusted.

I wasted a lot of time and money investing in fiat stocks that either underperformed MSTR or lost the majority of their value.

If you’re new to investing in MSTR then here are some pros and cons to going all-in on MSTR stock from a long time shareholder who practices strict MSTR DCA + call options to boost returns.

Pros of Going All-in On MSTR

  • Invest in Bitcoin withouting worrying about BTC custody risk
  • Avoid paying Bitcoin ETF expense ratio fees on IBIT, FBTC, GBTC, etc
  • Own shares in a company with a good chance of making the S&P 500 in the near future
  • Sell covered calls on your MSTR shares to generate extra income

Cons of Going All-in on MSTR

  • Expose yourself to the risk of BTC per share declining in the future
  • Lack of liquidity on the weekends when MSTR shares don’t actively trade

MSTR is a Volatile Rollercoaster Ride so Expect Big Ups and Downs

Investing in MSTR stock is not for everyone. It’s an absolute rollercoaster ride that could upset traditional stock investors who aren’t used to the volatility and price swings.

That’s ok. It’s one of the reasons why I created this website to help fellow MSTR investors weather the massive price swings and volatility.
