Strategy Acquires 24,869 BTC in Massive $2 Billion Bitcoin Purchase

Strategy Buys $2 billion in Bitcoin

Strategy made another major bitcoin purchase last week, acquiring 24,869 BTC for approximately $2.01 billion at an average price of $80,985 per bitcoin.

The latest buy increases Strategy’s total bitcoin holdings to 843,738 BTC. According to the company’s latest SEC Form 8-K filing, the firm has now spent roughly $64 billion accumulating bitcoin at an average purchase price of about $75,700 per coin.

The majority of last week’s bitcoin purchases were financed through sales of Strategy’s high-yield STRC preferred stock. The company also raised an additional $83.7 million through modest sales of its common stock.
