MSTR Flashes First Red Day After 3 Day Winning Streak
Strategy (NASDAQ: MSTR) shares closed down the day at $167.33 on 23 million shares traded volume to close out Tuesday’s stock market session.
It’s the first red day after a 3 day winning streak for the company. I noticed that volume has fallen off a cliff ever since the massive 54 million shares traded on Friday, September 18th 2026.
This usually means that the shorts have covered most of their shorted shares and the momentum is declining as traders chase other hot plays such as AI stocks and low float runners.
Will MSTR Break the 200 Week EMA Resistance?
All signs point to later this week to see if MSTR can break the key resistance level of $167. We will see what happens later this week but this is an important resistance level for the stock.

Will you be able to buy back MSTR at a Lower Price?
I think so because the volume is declining and the shorts have already covered most of their underwater positions earlier in the week. We’ll see what Bitcoin does over the next couple of days but it looks like the momentum is fading out.
